Meditation

Meditation is simply consciously directed attention.
Meditation harnesses the human capacity for undivided concentration and directs it inward.

By meditating on the Sound Current already present within you, you can experience all the bliss, harmony, and peace.
The inner Sound Current (Shabd) elevates you from your present state to the spiritual realms.
Being able to meditate for an extended period of time undoubtedly requires some practice, but with persistence and a little patience, anyone can develop this ability.

Requirements

To ensure your ShabdYoga meditation is successful and the Sound Current within you can quickly lift you upwards to higher levels of consciousness, you should keep a few things in mind.

It's clear that no one can change their habits overnight.

Your spiritual journey begins today, and the whole thing is a process.

Sant Khem Singh instructs us:

Eat a vegetarian diet.

Avoid drugs and alcohol.

Do not use spiritual healing.

Dedicate time to meditation daily.

Karma

Everything you do, think, or say must return to you.
This is called karma.
It doesn't matter whether the action was positive or negative.
Karma is neutral.
A bad action cannot be compensated for by a good one.
We must experience both again.
Karma is therefore the reason for your recurring suffering in this world and your continuous rebirths. ShabdYoga, meditating on the inner Sound Current, dissolves these karmas.
